Nuri Beauty: Green Clay Face Mask Review

Being passionate about natural products, I follow several cosmetic companies on social media. One day, while on Instagram, I read the announcement that a new German brand, NURI BEAUTY, was looking for testers.

The description of the product was really interesting with ingredients coming from certified organic farms. I immediately contacted the company asking to be one of their testers. They quickly replied in a friendly and nice way. After two days, the green clay face mask and the night repair oil serum were at home (check the serum review here).

Before starting with my review, I would like to underline that the company did not ask me any review in exchange for sending the products and that I’m not getting money from that brand. After using the products, I found them really good and in line with my philosophy, so I decided to write my opinions here. I personally contacted the founder to have more details and she gave me not only technical details but also some professional pictures.

1. NURI Beauty product

How companies package their products is an important factor for me. I think that it is a way for brands to introduce themselves and give a good first impression. NURI Beauty fulfilled my expectation.

The products were wrapped in this elegant brown paper accompanied by a handwritten thank-you note. I really appreciated it. 🙂

2. Green Clay Face Mask

In this post I will tell you about my experience with the green clay face mask only. I’ll write another post to describe the night repair oil serum.

The package contained the green clay mask and a little card with ingredients and instructions on how to use it.

On the market, the product is sold in a recyclable glass container showed in the image at the top of the page. It contains 60g of green clay face mask and it costs 26€.

All ingredients are natural. Illite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite, Calcit (French Green Clay) are different clays that purify and, at the same time, hydrate the skin. An interesting blog post that describes the characteristics and the action of each kind of clay is here

The extract of Matcha Tea, due to the high level of chlorophylgives the mask the green colour. It is helpful for oily or acne-affected skin types, that need an extra support against bacterias and infections.

Noteworthy is Myrciaria Dubia (Camu Camu) Fruit Extract, from organic farming, that contains high level of Vitamin C and polyphenols. The Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that acts against the sign of ageing.

2.2 Uses

This clay mask can be used mixing the powder with water, honey, or yogurt. The procedure is really easy. Just mix a teaspoon of clay mask with one of honey or some drops of water, depending on what you preferences are.

I chose honey while my sister, whom I gave a bit also to try, chose water.

NURI beauty use

I applied the mask and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Then I washed it off gently with water and applied a moisturise skin cream.

I noticed a pleasure fragrance, like wild herbs, while I was washing my face with water. I did not expect it but I appreciated it a lot. After the treatment, my skin was smooth and hydrated. Loved it!

I’m really satisfied with the green clay face mask and I recommend you to visit their website to learn more about their products.
